HOLIDAY CLOSURE DATES APPROVED/2025:
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-506

It was moved by Kelly Jones and seconded by Diane Ward to approve the list of holiday closures for the Adams County Board of Commissioner’s office and departments under their authority for 2025 as follows:
January 1, 2025- New Year’s Day
January 20, 2025- Martin Luther King Day
February 17, 2025- Presidents Day
April 18, 2025- Good Friday/Close @ Noon
May 26, 2025- Memorial Day
June 19, 2025- Juneteenth
July 4, 2025- Independence Day
September 1, 2025- Labor Day
October 13, 2025- Columbus Day
November 11, 2025- Observe Veterans Day
November 27-28, 2025- Thanksgiving
December 24, 2025- Observe Christmas Eve/Close @ Noon.
December 25, 2025- Christmas Day
December 31, 2025- Observe New Years Eve/Close @ Noon.

There was no further discussion and upon the call of the roll the vote resulted as follows:

April 7, 14, 21, 28 May 5, 12, 19, 27 June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
July 7, 14, 21, 28 August 4, 11, 18, 25, 29 September 8, 15, 22, 29
October 6, 14, 20, 27 November 3, 10, 17, 24 December 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

The list of regular session dates is tentative and may be amended as needed.
